Addie Omega Gillam

Addie Omega Gilliam, 88, died, Dec. 5, 2009 in National Health Care of North Augusta, S.C.
Funeral service was held Dec. 9 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Harry Warren and Danny Grubbs officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Gilliam was born Nov. 11, 1921 in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late John Calvin Riley and Ethel Lillian Grubbs. She was the wife of the late Rolland Furman Gilliam. She was a homemaker and remained active in every phase of church life with the Reedy Branch Baptist Church until her decline in health. She was predeceased by sisters, Reba Moody, Janie Sanders, Ruth Williamson, Tinie Margaret Grubbs, and Norma Fowke, brothers, Reeves Grubbs, David Briggs Grubbs and Lester Grubbs.
Survivors include two daughters, Jonnie Claire (the late Bob) Still of Barnwell and Sue (Jim) Peeples of Murrieta Calif.; two brothers, Willie N. Grubbs of St. Matthews and Arden Grubbs of Barnwell and one grandson, Rolland Martin (Ann) Still of Barnwell.
