Andy Sanders, 58, of Barnwell, died Feb. 17, 2010.
Funeral service was held Feb. 20 at the Barnwell First Baptist Church with the Revs. Lee Clamp, Johnny Nixon and Romie Martin officiating. Burial was in the Reedy Branch Baptist Church cemetery. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Sanders was born Sept. 1, 1951 in Barnwell County. He was the son of the late J.W. and Moleese Still Sanders. He was the store manager of Reid's of Hampton. He was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and the Willise Keel Sunday school class. He was a former member of the S.C. National Guard for the Barnwell unit.
Survivors include his wife, Alsa Hughes Sanders; three daughters, Becky Sanders (Michael) Beyer, Andrea Sanders (Jerry) Hodge and Kara Sanders (Adam) Bolen; the mother of his children, Hazel Still Sanders; stepdaughter, Lisa Still (Marty) Collins; stepson, Stephen (Angela) Still; one brother Joe Sanders; one sister, Patricia (Roy) Still; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
