Anna ‘Mrs. Lib’ Widener
Anna Crider “Mrs. Lib” Widener, 74, of Williston, died May 15, 2010 at her home.
Funeral service was held today, May 19, at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church cemetery in Windsor. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Widener was born in Bamberg County. She was the daughter of the late Counts Crider and Ellen Johnson Crider. She attended Denmark-Olar High School and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. She was a sales clerk and a cashier. She was first married to the late William Price Langford and the widow of J.P. Widener. She was predeceased by a sister Vonetta Blake, a brother, Bob Crider, and a grandson, Clint Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen (Greg) Yarbrough; three sons, Bill (Phyllis) Langford, Tommy (Cindy) Langford and Mike (Libby) Langford; three sisters, Sudie Carter, Susan Jeffcoat and Joann Walker; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
