Beatrice O. Trottie, died Aug. 19, 2009 at the Barnwell County Hospital.
Funeral service was held Aug. 24 at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. Isaiah Odom officiating. Burial was in the Hope memorial Park, Barnwell. The Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Trottie was born Aug. 28, 1913 in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late Deacon James and Lillie Garrett O'Neal. She was married to the late Charlie Trottie Jr. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, was a member of the senior choir and household of Ruth No. 4087.
Survivors include one son, Willie (Shirley Ann) Pope of Barnwell; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
