Betty Butler
Betty Butler, 70, of Barnwell, died May 5, 2010 at the University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
Funeral service was held May 10 at Bell Pond Baptist Church, Williston with the Rev. Eugene Dabis officiating. Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Butler was born May 13, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Clayton Baxley and Louise Youngblood. She was a member of the Bell Pond Baptist Church. She was predeceased by two children, Leroy Mays and Ronia Mays.
Survivors include one daughter, Ila (Lee) Thomas of Windsor; two sons, Frank Jackson and Michael Jackson, both of Barnwell; three sisters, Mary Youngblood, Mary Ann Butler and Barbara Youngblood of Williston; eight brothers, George Jacob, Lewis (Brenda) Youngblood, Arthur Youngblood, Larry Youngblood, all of Jersey City N. J., Leon Youngblood, Leo Youngblood, Jimmy Youngblood, Tommy Lee Youngblood, all of Williston; one aunt, Eartha Smith of Jersey City, N. J.; one daughter-in-law, Daisy Mays of Blackville; a special cousin, Mary Ann Johnson of White Pond; a special friend and health care person, Levern Anderson;10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
