Blanche Lunette Redmond Ellis
Blanche Lunette "Net" Redmond Ellis, 70, of Blackville, died Nov, 8, 2009.
Funeral service was held Nov. 11 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston. Burial was in Ashleigh Baptist Church Cemetery with Eastern Star rites accorded.
Mrs. Ellis was born in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Loubell Black Redmond. She was first married to the late Janace "Jim" Ellis. She was a member of Ashleigh Baptist Church, Harmony Hope Chapter # 229, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Georgialina Doll Makers Guild. She worked with Broward County School Board and with a report pick-up service as a courier.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Allen Ellis and a brother, J. L. Redmond.
Survivors include Billy Gatlin; one sister, Margie R. Campbell; one niece, Tina Redmond Ridgmon, Regina Gatlin, Christopher (Tammy) Jennings, Thomas Gatlin, Chester (Milan) Gatlin and Lester (Jeanette) Gatlin; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
