Bobby Cohens Williams
Bobby Cohens Williams, 70, of Springfield, died May 22, 2010 after a brief illness.
Funeral Service was held May 25 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with burial in the Springfield cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Williams was born in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late E.J. Williams and Lila Mae Chavis Williams. He was a truck driver and owned and operated Bobby’s Boiled Peanuts in Springfield. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Springfield. He was predeceased in death by a brother, Eddie Joe Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Hutto Williams of the home; daughters, Joyce Langen of Mo., Penny (Kenneth) Lawing of Spartanburg, Renae (Tony) Bowman of Springfield; sons, Ernest Ray (Susan) Williams of Blackville, Roger (Sheryl) Williams of Springfield and Kenny (Cathy) Hutto of Springfield; brothers, Floyd (Patsy) Williams and Ray (Deirdre) Williams all of Springfield, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church building fund, 150 Hi Cotton Lane, Springfield, S.C. 29146.
