Charles Finley ‘Pie’ Bell Sr.
Charles Finley “Pie” Bell, Sr., 75, of Barnwell, died Feb. 15, 2010.
Funeral service was held today, Feb. 17 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Barnwell Memory Gardens, Reynolds Road. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bell was born in old Dunbarton. He was the son of the late William Taft Bell and Eunice Lowe Bell. He retired from Milliken as a supervisor with 35 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, a member of the CB Radio Club and the Hardees Breakfast Club. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Hammett.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Bell of the home; one daughter, Beth Bell of Blackville; one son, Charles Finley “Chuck” (Dianne) Bell, Jr. of Long Branch; four sisters, Edna Love, Betty Johnson, Linda Snader and Clothilde Pinson; one brother, Billy Bell; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
