Coleman Bazzle, 81, of Williston, died May 27, 2009.
Funeral service was held May 30 at Williston First Baptist Church with burial in the Williston Cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bazzle was born in Allendale County. He was the son of the late Ulyus Coleman and Sarah Inez Platts Bazzle. He retired as a road construction superintendent for Robert O. Collins Construction Company, was a member of the National Guard, Allendale Unit for 18 years, was a cattle farmer, co-owner of Baxley Tire Center and was a carrier for the State Newspaper for 36 years. He was a member of Williston First Baptist Church. He was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Rahn.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Ann Baxley Bazzle of the home; one son, David P. (Jodi) Bazzle Sr. of Williston; three sisters, Martha Ann Bazzle of Varnville, Alice Gibson of Hampton and Linda Thomason of Tifton, Ga.; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
