Corrie Mae Grubbs Dantzler, 86, of Barnwell, died Sept. 20, 2009 in Orangeburg.
Graveside service was held Sept. 23 at the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Edy McElmurray officiating. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Dantzler was born on June 28, 1923 in Barnwell County. She was a retired mender from Milliken Corporation.
Survivors include two sons, Willie G. Hammett and Dwayne L. (Dixie) Hammett, one daughter Betty S. Bannister; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
