Erlis Black Hutto, 90, of Blackville, died Feb. 12, 2010 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.
Funeral service was held Feb. 15 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Harry Warren and Ted Still officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. Mole Funeral of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hutto was born Jan. 10, 1920 in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mattie Still Black. She was the widow of Earl J. Hutto. She was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church where she kept the nursery for many years. She was a retired employee of Shuron, Inc. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Hutto.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Hutto of Blackville; two sons, Eddie (Gail) Hutto of Blackville and Wilford (Sabra) Hutto of Windsor; two sisters, Evelyn Croft of Barnwell and Margie Folk of Blackville; three brothers, Raymond Black of Williston, Clinton Black of Salley and Kenneth Black of Columbia; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
