Funeral services for Gene Allen Williams, 56, of Williston, were held May 13, in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the Williston cemetery.
Fellow members of the Williston Rescue Squad served as honorary pallbearers.   Mr. Williams died May 10, 2010.
Born in Lexington, he was a son of Jessie Ball Williams and the late Verneil Williams. He was formerly employed at Dixie-Narco.
He was a member and director of the Williston Rescue Squad. He was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church. 
Survivors include sons, Tracy Williams of Bluffton, Joey (Lawanna) Williams of Williston; Judy Whittle of Williston; his mother of Orangeburg; sisters, Kathy Beason of Orangeburg, Joyce Williams of Neeses, Linda Goodwind of Leesville, Patsy Russell of Cayce; brothers, Thomas Williams of Springfield, Ralph and Billy Williams both of Neeses, Dennis Williams of Orangeburg and three grandchildren.
