Gertrude O’Neal Patrick, 91, of Orangeburg, died Dec. 22, 2011 at the Oaks.
Funeral service was held Dec. 28 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kristen Richardson-Frick officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Patrick was born in Fairfax. She was the daughter of the late John Blanton and Edith Googe O’Neal. She was a retired school teacher in South Carolina and Florida. She was president of the Orangeburg Garden Club and of the Columbia College Club of Orangeburg. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by a daughter, Martha G. Patrick and was the widow of the Rev. Marion Johnston Patrick.
Survivors include one son, Paul W. Patrick of Lexington.
