Gregory Plunkett, 52, of Barnwell, died Oct. 23, 2009 at the Providence Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral service was held Oct. 29 at the Guinyard and Son's Funeral Home chapel, Barnwell. Burial was in the Hope Memorial Park, Barnwell. Guinyard and Son's Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Plunkett was born Oct. 9, 1957 in Brooklyn, N. Y. He was the son of the late A. C. and Pecolia Felder Plunkett. He was a truck driver for over 20 years. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Plunkett; his grandmother, Alwillie Smalls and two grandchildren, Kaya and Anthony Plunkett Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Plunkett of Atlanta, Ga. and Travis Plunkett of Blackville; one brother, Jeffrey (Sharon) Plunkett of Blackville; two aunts and six grandchildren.
