James Green, 75, died May 12, 2009.
Funeral service was held May 16 at St. Thomas Grove Baptist Church, Reynolds Road, Barnwell with the Rev. John Young officiating. Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Green was born March 4, 1934 in Dunbarton. He was the son of the late Silas Green and the late Elizabeth McCassling. He was a member of St. Thomas Grove Baptist Church. He was predeceased by a brother, Fred Wallace.
Survivors include two sisters, Julia Salley of Blackville and Julia Jones of Williston; one special nephew, Ray Wallace of Blackville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
