Jannie Creech Roach, 71, of Barnwell, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Barnwell County Hospital.
Mrs. Roach was born in Barnwell County on January 15, 1941. She was the daughter of the late John Floyd and Giulia Still Creech. She was a retired employee of Shuron Inc and Sara Lee Corp. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 4 pm Jan. 31 at Friendship Baptist Church and burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday evening , 6-8 p.m. at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Howard B. Roach Jr. of Barnwell; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia D. and Mike Beasley of Blackville; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Heather Defreest of Barnwell; sisters, Delores McDonald Fail of Barnwell and Bobbie Jean (Sonny) Proveaux of Olar; brother, Rev. Wilbur (Myrtle) Creech of Barnwell; grandchildren, Dustin, Logan and Dalton Beasley, Kayden and Charlee Defreest. She was predeceased by her brother and sister in law, Fulmer and Alice Creech. Mole Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
