Louise Thomas Dickson, 72, of Daytona Beach, Fla., died Nov. 7, 2009 at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Funeral services were held Nov. 14 at Revelation Ministries, Fairfax with burial in the Miller Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Allendale Community Funeral Home of Allendale was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Dickson was born Nov. 9, 1937 in Sycamore. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Monzell Thomas.

Survivors include one son, Wayne (Faye) Dickson of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Sylvia (Richard) Broomfield of Allendale; sisters, Birdeen (James) Ashley, Kate (Nate) McCoy, Milly Thomas, Luberta (Ralph) Shelton, Alberta Ellis, Angie Brown and Juanita Jones, all of Daytona Beach, Fla., Dorothy Williams of Sycamore and Polly Holmes of Aiken; a devoted friend of 40 years, Benjamin Robinson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
