Martha "Myrtha" Hutto

Martha "Myrtha" Hutto, of Barnwell, died June 14, 2009.
Funeral service was held June 20 at Honey Ford Baptist Church, Denmark with the Revs. Anthony Mansfield and Willie Carter officiating. Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hutto was born April 30, 1930 in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Katie Williams O'Berry. She was married to the late Rev. George Hutto. She was a member of Honey Ford Baptist Church. She was a member of the Pride of Barnwell No. 77 Order of Eastern star, PHA. She was a member of the deaconess and minister's spouses ministry and the missionary auxiliary. She was predeceased by a son, Walter Leon Hutto; one sister, Geneva Williams; two brothers, Pearlsteen O'Berry and Rembert O'Berry; a brother-in-law, George Williams and two sisters-in-law, Melva O'Berry and Lee Ethel O'Berry.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Jackson of Decatur, Ga., Earline (Eric) Barnes of Schaumburg, Ill. and Yvonne Robinson of Barnwell; three sisters, Lucy (Ike) Carter of Winston-Salem, N. C., Mildred (lee) Glenn of Bronx, N.Y. and Retha (Gonza) Hazel of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Vasto O'Berry of Charleston; two sisters-in-law, Glennie Mae (Theodore) Fickling of Baltimore, Md. and Ella Mae O'Berry of Barnwell; six grandchildren; two godsons; nieces and nephews.
