Mary Armistead Crenshaw, 77, died Aug. 30, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral service was held Sept. 1 at the Hagood Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Catoe officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Rd. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Crenshaw was born April 3, 1932 in Richmond, Va. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Parrish Armistead. She was the widow of Charles W. Crenshaw. She was a homemaker and a member of Hagood Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Bobby Crenshaw, Francis Gentry, Russell Crenshaw, Shirley Crenshaw, Kathy Crenshaw, Patrica Hughes, Billi Crenshaw, Early Crenshaw, Tommy Crenshaw, Frank Crenshaw, Alice Crenshaw, David Crenshaw, Terri Polucci, Steven Crenshaw, Rebecca Branton and Linda Johnson; one brother, Frank P. Armistead. She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Crenshaw.
