Kenneth McCrary "Bullbat" Bolen, Jr., 40 of Williston, died Nov. 7, 2009.
Funeral service was held Nov. 10 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel in Williston with the Revs. Dexter Lambert and Jamie Wootten officiating.
Mr. Bolen was born in Augusta, Ga. He was the son of the late Kenneth McCrary Bolen, Sr. and Betty Fogle Bolen Porter. He worked for SRS as an electro-mechanical engineer, was a member of Williston First Baptist Church and attended Winfield Heights Baptist Church. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop # 65 and a former member of Williston Fire Department. He was an original band member of the Crossrode, Supply and Demand, Night Owls and Over the Hill Gang. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Gloria Landis.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Landis Bolen; one son, Kenny Mac Bolen; one daughter, Mattison Lynn Bolen; one sister, Deborah Bolen (Mike) Cook; his father-in-law, Tommy Landis; his sister-in-law, Pam (Jamie) Fields and a nephew, Tucker.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent in memory of Ken to Trinity Hospice, 2803 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30909.
