Michael Ray Peters, 37, of Blackville, died Aug. 25, 2009.
Funeral service was held Aug. 28 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in The Williston Cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Peters was born in Maryland. He was the son of Dewain Peters and Brenda Owens Peters Barnes.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Grubbs Peters; his parents; step-father, Eddie Barnes; one sister, Michelle (James) Keller; one step-sister, Joy Black; one step-brother, Eugene Barnes; a number of nieces, nephews and friends including Emmitt Black and Ashley Keller.
