Mildred C. Mahaffey, 88, died June 11, 2010 at Kentwood Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held June 13 at St. John's Tower, Augusta, Ga. Elliott Sons Funeral Home of Martinez, Ga.
Ms. Mahaffey was born April 9, 1922 in Barnwell.
She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and she was retired from the CIA.
Ms. Mahaffey was preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Grubbs and Edith Darnell, and a brother, Wilbur Mahaffey.
She is survived by her nieces, Rosanne Grubbs Stoyle, Judy Darnell, and Jill Mahaffey; and nephews, Med Grubbs, Bill Mahaffey, and John Mahaffey.
