Myrl Deloris Still, 86, died Nov. 2, 2009 at the Aiken Regional Hospital.
Funeral service was held Nov. 6 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Still was born in Bamberg County on Aug. 24, 1923. She was the daughter of the late John Heyward and Janie Lou Still Sr. She was the widow of Ulysses B. Still. She worked with her husband at Still's Cleaners for a number of years. She was a member of the Gideon International Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnwell where she taught the three-year-old Sunday school class. She was predeceased by a brother, Marion Still of Roswell, Ga.
Survivors include one son, Randall Still of Barnwell; one daughter, Deloris (Rick) Hiott of Columbia; two sisters, Christobel Ayer of Ehrhardt and Peggy (Earl) Jackson of Hendersonville N.C.; two brothers, John (Geneva) Still Jr. of Barnwell and Tom (Sarah) Still of Summerville; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
