Sandra Kay Watson
Sandra Kay “Ms. Parker” Watson, died Aug. 12, 2010 at MUSC in Charleston.
Funeral service was held Aug. 18 at Central Baptist Church, Denmark, with the Revs. Alex Jefferson and Clary L. Green officiating. Lebby Funeral Home of Denmark was in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Watson was born July 19, 1962 in Bamberg. She was the daughter of the late Henry (Juanita) Watson.
Survivors include one daughter, Towanna Watson; two sons, Roger M. Singleton and Ryan S. Singleton, all of Denmark; four sisters, Betty (James) Watson, Nettie Grayheart, Emma Robinson and Diane (Jeffery) Wroten, all of Denmark; five brothers, Jimmy Sanders, Donnie (Ilenia) Watson, Charles (Charlene) Watson, all of Denmark, Walter (Eartha) Howard of Santee and Arthur (Janet) Glover of Rockford, Ill; one aunt; a special friend, Gerome Lewis of Denmark; two granddaughters; nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.

Marie Fulton Clement
Marie Fulton Clement, 83, of Barnwell, died Aug. 16, 2010 at the Barnwell County Hospital.
Funeral service was held Aug. 20 at the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Lee Clamp and Keith Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Clement was born on Sept. 30, 1926 in Beaufort County, N.C.  She was the daughter of the late John Fewell and Dura Williams Fulton.   She was the wife of Lee Clement. She was a retired employee with Barnwell School District 45 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnwell.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Clement of Barnwell; two daughters, Sandra Clement Shannon of Barnwell and Mary Alice Clement McCracken (John) of Richmond Va.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Henry Timrod Morris
Henry Timrod Morris, 87, of Barnwell, died Aug. 17, 2010 at the Veteran’s Victory House Nursing Home, Walterboro.
Funeral service was held Aug. 21 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard McWhite officiating. Burial was in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport.  Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements. 
Mr. Morris was born Oct. 13, 1922 in Barnwell County.  He was the son of the late Paul and Mamie Brabham Morris.  He was a navy veteran of WWII and a retired employee of the Savannah River Site.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was predeceased by siblings, Paul J. Morris, Leo Morris, Beo Morris, Lucille M. Fail, Virginia M. Copps and Corine M. Dyches.
Survivors include one sister, Bonnie M. Jernigan of Jacksonville Fla.

Rosa Lee Boyce Kennedy
Rosa Lee Boyce Kennedy, 96, died July 27, 2010.
Funeral service was held Aug. 4 at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, Barnwell with the Revs. Bruce Bias and Clary L. Green officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Kennedy was born March 15, 1914 in Aiken County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Boyce. She was married to the late Deacon Willie Kennedy. She was employed with the Barnwell County and Blackville Nursing Homes. She was a member of the Brown Chapel Baptist Church. She was predeceased by two children.
Survivors include four daughters, Mamie Kennedy-Brooks and Linda Kennedy-Bellamy of Amityville, N. Y., Barbara Kennedy-Manner and Elizabeth Kennedy-Johnson of Barnwell; one step daughter, Mattie Allen of Hampton, Va.; three sons, Willie Lee Kennedy of Hampton, Va., Ernest Kennedy of California and Bennie Kennedy of Amityville, N. Y.; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Kennedy of Denmark; one sister-in-law, Ella Boyce of Brooklyn, N. Y.; one son-in-law, Terry Manner of Barnwell; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one step-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, step nieces, step nephews, cousins and friends.

Kathy Marie Reynolds Abbott
Kathy Marie Reynolds Abbott, 60, of Barnwell, died Aug. 20, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral service was held Aug. 23 at the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church with burial in the Seven Pines Baptist Church Cemetery. Mole Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Abbott was born Dec. 12, 1949 in Augusta Ga.  She was the daughter of Gertrude Zorn Grubbs and the late Raymond Eldred Reynolds.She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church. She was predeceased by her step father, Franklin Grubbs Sr., grandparents, Willie and Kathleen Cling and Eldred and Ruby Reynolds.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Abbott of Barnwell; her mother, Gertrude Z. Grubbs of North Augusta; two sons, Robert Wayne (Alicia) Strock and Jerry Todd (Melissa) Strock of Barnwell; two daughters, Holly Marie (Stacey) Reese of Hephzibah Ga. and Rhonda Abbott Rupert of New York; two sisters, Charlotte (Ray) Swetman of North Augusta and Judy (Danny) Mishoe of Barnwell; two brothers, W.C. Cling of Orangeburg and Franklin (Shelia) Grubbs Jr. of Barnwell and eight grandchildren.
