Rose Lee McLeod Maslanko
Rose Lee McLeod Maslanko, 76, died June 19, 2010.
Funeral service will be held June 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Victor Cheek officiating. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetary.
Mrs. Maslanko was born in Sumter to the late John Davis "Bozie" Hudson and Susie Atkins Hudson Bochette. She was the former president of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW Post 3034 and through her years with the VFW she assisted with many state and local activities. She was predeceased by three brothers, Nathan Hudson, Herbert W. Hudson, Sr. and Butch Bochette; and two sisters, Leatha Truett and Susan Robinson.
Suvivors include her husband, John Maslanko, six children, Liz Belsole (Randy Galloway) of Sumter, Otis "Buck" McLeod (Rhonda) of Blackville, Debra Nowakowski (Bob), Louise McCathern (Wesley), Dale Rygalski (Tom) of Sumter, and David Lackey of Michigan; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jessie Hudson (Vivian), John David Hudson, Jr. of Sumter, Tommy Hudson (Brenda), Mike Bochette (Sherrie) of Orangeburg, two sisters, Henrietta Smith and Catherine Kraft (Thomas) of Sumter and numerous nieces and nephews.
