Samuel Isaac Green, 32, of Gastonia, died Oct. 10, 2009 at the Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C.
Funeral service was held Oct. 17 at Springfield Baptist Church, Stanley, N. C. with burial in the church cemetery. Costner Funeral Home, Inc. of Gastonia, N. C. was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Green was the son of Joseph and Ruth Kirkland Green.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Anderson Green of Gastonia, N. C.; four children, Nayomi, Adrianna, Elijah and Roman Green, all of Gastonia, N.C.; his parents; five sisters, Pamela G. (Reggie) Whitlock, Patricia Green Gandy, Sarah Green (Rodney) Williams, Katrina Green and Sharranda (Rodrick) Neal; four brothers, Benjamin (Tommie) Green, Michael Green, James (Hadea) Green and Jonathan Green; eight aunts; four uncles; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
