Susan Redden Harley, 84, of Union City, Ga., formerly of Hilda, died May 15, 2010 in a Union City, Ga. nursing facility.
Funeral service was held today, May 19 at the Denmark Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jimmy Harley officiating. Burial was in the Bamberg Memory Gardens. Mercer Funeral Home of Denmark was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Harley was born July 30, 1925 in Hendersonville, N. C. She was the daughter of the late Elliott Monroe Redden and Susan Grace Cantrell Redden. She was the widow of Master Sgt. Jesse Julian Harley.  She was a member of the Denmark Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Cecila Harley (Bryant) Mills of Fayetteville, Ga.; one son, Phillip Harley of Bluffton; one sister, Lorrine Paul of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
