William Daniel Bilton, Jr., 52, of Varnville, died Feb. 20, 2010 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service was held Feb. 23 at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Burial was in the Smith cemetery. The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home of Varnville was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bilton was born Dec. 5, 1957 in Orangeburg County. He was the son of William Daniel and Betty Smith Bilton Sr. He was a member of Estill Methodist Church. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Jeffery Bilton.
Survivors include his wife, Joy L. McAlhaney of Varnville; two sons, William Daniel Bilton III of Summerville and Andrew Jacob Bilton of Varnville; his parents of Neeses; one sister, Shari Bilton (Terrell) Smith of Allendale and one grandchild. Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
