A Williston-Elko High School senior has signed a letter of intent to play two sports next year at an Ohio college. Case Wiles will play football and baseball at Hiram College.

He has played both sports all four years at WEHS, including on the offensive line for the Blue Devils football team and first and third base on the baseball team.

The college reached out to Wiles during football season. He then toured the campus in February where he said he fell in love and knew that was where he was meant to be.

“I love how it’s set up. The people there are real into it and want to help you,” said Wiles, who was offered scholarships to attend.

Wiles plans to major in physical education.

“I wish him the best of luck and hope he can be very successful,” said WEHS baseball coach Alan LeRoy.

Wiles is the son of Wesley and Emily Wiles.
