In the battle for all the marbles in major league baseball (11- to 12-year-olds), Paradise Heating and Cooling overwhelmed the competition last month in Barnwell.
Fueled by the pitching of Dylan Brant, PHC chopped down American Forest Management by a score of 16-0 in four innings.

With the win, PHC completes the season at 15-0.
PHC coach Chief Brant said the team came ready to play every game.
"This a great group of kids," Brant said. "They didn't slack off the entire season. They played each game as if it was a championship game. I'd like to thank my assistant coaches for a great job with the team. I'd also like to thank the parents for their support and all the fans."
In the championship game, PHC teed off on AFM's pitching in its first at-bat.
In the inning, Brant and Justin Ridgeway led with doubles. One batter later, Trevor Steadman singled, scoring Ridgeway. Martin Edsall followed with a hit to put runners at first and third.
