Paradise Heating and Cooling continued to roll over the competition last week in major league (11- to12-year-old) baseball action.

Spark plugged by a three-hit effort from Dylan Bryant, Paradise Heating and Cooling racked up its fourth win in a row in a 10-4 triumph over Query Pritchard Construction.

Bryant brought his "A" game, finishing with two singles, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored.

With the victory, Paradise Heating and Cooling improves to 4-0 and clinches the championship for the second half of the season.

PHC coach Chief Bryant said the team has made the most of its opportunities this season at the plate.

"We've played really well all season," Bryant said.

"Offensively, when our team get runners in scoring position, we do very good a job of bringing the runners home. As for our pitching and defensive, we've been pretty solid all season."

In the contest, PHC took the early momentum with two runs in the top of the first inning. For PHC, Brant and Brown singled and scored. Austin Still was credited with a RBI during the inning.

After being shutout in the second inning, PHC responded with its bats again in the third inning. Brant led the inning with a single, then stole second base. Brown followed with a single, scoring Brant. Moments later, Still clocked a single, scoring Brown from second. Still then came home off a double by Chris Hanley to make the score 5-0.

Down by five runs, Query Pritchard's bats came alive in the bottom of the third inning. Anderson Langford and Jevonte Dunbar got hits and scored to narrow the lead at 5-2. Parker Pritchard had a RBI during the inning.

After watching its five run- lead cut to three runs, PHC responded with five runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding 10-2 advantage. For PHC, Brant, Brown, Still, Hanley and Banks Brabham all scored.

Query Pritchard tried a comeback putting two scores on the board in the fourth inning on runs by Pritchard and Dunbar.

However, For PHC, the 10 runs was more than enough for righthander Jordan Brown. Brown silenced the bats of Query Pritchard, tossing a five-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks.

In minor league action (9-to 10 year-old), Wade's Repair got the best of Spec's Vision by a score of 2-1 June 10 at Lemon Park.

Spec's Vision, one of the hottest teams in the league, found the going tough against Wade's Repair with only three hits in the contest.

For Wade's Repair, Wil Noland, Nathan Toole and Lawson Detrick pitched well for the win. The trio combined for nine strikeouts in the contest.

Wade's Repair got on the scoreboard first in the contest when Kolby Bridgmon scored from third base off a single by Carson Anderson in the second inning.

Trailing by a run, Spec's Vision knotted the game at 1-1 in the fourth inning. For Spec's Vision, Boldt Richardson singled, then scored off a RBI double from Josh Shealy.

However, Wade's Repair regained the lead for good in the fifth inning when James McDonald scored from second off a hit by Arkem Jacobs for the winning run.

The top hitters of the game for Wade's Repair included Kolby Bridgmon, Carson Anderson, James McDonald and Arkem Jacobs.
