He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Len G. Corder; mother, Helen Corder Keisler; brother, John Paul Corder; brother-in-law, Alex T. Clamp; and niece, Ashley Shank of Evans, Ga.

Len built a distinguished career as an independent consultant and Project Controls Manager in the nuclear industry, serving client or owner representatives at the project level. He was highly respected for his expertise in project cost, construction, and the management of complex, highly visible, multi-billion-dollar projects at nuclear facilities across the country from Georgia to Texas. He served a variety of companies including Plant Vogtle, Vector Management Group, and Bechtel Savannah River, INC. His work took him to projects nationwide, where his knowledge, professionalism, sound judgement, and integrity earned the trust and respect of clients, colleagues, and industry professionals. Over the years, colleagues became friends, and many of those friendships lasted long after the projects were completed.

Len was the life of the party. He had an infectious laugh and magnetic charisma. He was an avid golfer and was interested in the comradery and laughter more than the score. He loved to travel with friends around the world where the “road goes on forever and the party never ends.” Above everything else, family mattered deeply to Len. He treasured time spent with his siblings and nephews, whether gathered around a table, celebrating a special occasion, attending a ball game, or simply enjoying being together. Len was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston and the First Baptist Church of Barnwell. In recent years, he attended North Augusta First Baptist Church.
