Historical figures such as Rosa Parks, Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Walt Disney, and Clara Barton were brought to life by Barnwell Primary School (BPS) second graders at the Feb. 16 Living History Museum.
Parents and family members entered the Willie E. Landrum gymnasium to learn interesting facts from their students. Second graders were dressed in wigs and period-era garb, introducing themselves as the historical figure they were representing.
Students represented all sectors of history – athletes, presidents, nurses, activists, and others who pioneered in their respective fields.
