Jessica Rapsys was last seen in Allendale around 7:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, but has not been seen since. On August 14, police found her car with the keys inside and her cell phone nearby in a remote part of Allendale County, according to Allendale County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Steven Robinson. Robinson said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Energy have all responded with different tracking resources to find Rapsys.
“We have very little details as far as who, what, when, where and how,” Robinson said, noting they do not have a clothing description. “We do need the public’s assistance. We located her vehicle out on Creek Plantation. We requested Hampton’s bloodhounds, they responded and did get a track but they were unable to locate anything. The SLED tracking team came down with the same results.”
