Barnwell Halloween House continues to add tricks and treats

Posted

For many years, the Grumbling family has decorated their Marlboro Avenue home for Halloween and welcomed trick-or-treaters for candy, games, and lots of spooky fun. The amount of candy handed out has grown just like the number of animatronics and other decorations. The home is now known as the Barnwell Halloween House.

“This event was truly special, and we simply could not have done it without the selfless dedication of so many people. From handing out treats and prizes to keeping the energy high, your commitment shone through every moment,” said Ken Grumbling, who thanks the volunteers who help make it possible each year. He also thanks the city, police department, and YMCA for their support.

The Grumblings also thank the trick-or-treaters and parents for stopping by. Because they are the reason the family continues to host the event.

“Thank you for sharing your night with us! Your costumes were out of this world! We saw so many creative, hilarious, and genuinely spooky outfits. The excitement on your faces is what this is all about. We hope you all enjoyed your visit and left with a bag full of treats and great memories,” said Grumbling.

They are already looking forward to making next year bigger, better, and even spookier.
