BARNWELL - It is with great sadness that the family of Cameron Brock Owens announce the sudden passing of such a beautiful soul. Brock passed away on February 12th, 2025, at the age of 31. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Brock was born in Aiken, S.C. on November 2nd, 1993 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center to Jennifer Fulmer and Ronnie Owens III. He attended Barnwell High School where he was passionate about football, and very good at it.
Brock’s favorite hobby was fishing. He loved to be in the open waters where he found peace and joy. It was very upsetting when the fish were not biting, but he loved the outdoors.
Brock is survived by his mother, Jennifer Croft Fulmer (James), whom he loved very much; his father, Ronald Owens III, which he thought the world of; his significant other, Elizabeth Zissett, whom he loved dearly, and her children Daniel Elkins and Jazzie Still, which he treated like his own. Brock had one brother, Jeremy Fulmer; and two sisters, Naomi Beard and Tory Gantt (Tony); maternal grandmother, Linda Croft; grandmother, Joann Croft; and paternal grandmother, Sandra Curtis; paternal grandfather, Ron Owens; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For the time being, Brock dedicated himself in construction work alongside his stepfather and his father. Brock cherished the time he spent with them learning and growing alongside them both.
Brock was saved at the age of 12 years old, and was baptized at Reach Out Ministry. He loved his Lord.
Brock is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marion Croft and Dennis Hair; his great-grandfather, Miller Croft (Lucille Croft) and Ralph Fail (Edna Fail).
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, with funeral services following at 3 p.m. Pastor Ken Cato will be officiating.
