DENMARK - Funeral services for Cliff “Tadpole” Curtis, 45, of Denmark will be held at 2 o’clock p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Reach Out Ministries with the Reverend Don McCormick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Shawn Gaskins, Austin Hankins, Blake Owens, Richard Ray, Robert Ray and Lee Worthington.
Cliff passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Born in Bamberg, S.C., he was a son of Emily Driggers and the late John Lee Curtis. He was a self-employed carpenter. Cliff was full of life; he loved eating his momma’s biscuits and enjoyed drawing.
Survivors include sons, Ayden, Lil Cliff, Shylo and David Curtis; sisters, Debra (Richard) Ray and Jamie (Kevin) Curtis; brothers, John Daniel (Kristen) Curtis, James Allen Giamportome and John David (Dezeray) Curtis; nieces and nephews, Gabrielle (Austin) Hankins, Robert Ray (fiancé Elizabeth Hadwin), Adrienne Ray, Landon Ray, Alexis Churchwell, Cypress Churchwell, Austin Curtis, Landon Curtis, Anthony Curtis, Kendra Curtis, and Josh Curtis; great nieces and nephews, Tyler, Trey and Taten Hankins, Brexley Peeler, Ryker Thomas, Anna Grace Curtis and Natalie Curtis; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Cliff was predeceased in death by brother, Robert Franklin Sweatman; maternal grandparents, Joe and Bertha Lee Driggers; paternal grandmother, Viola Dyches.
