WILLISTON - Freddie Dicks Jr., 78, of Williston, S.C. passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Born in Williston, S.C., he was a son of the later Freddie Dicks Sr. and Claretha Dunbar Dicks. He was a member of Shrub Branch Baptist Church. Freddie was a farmer. He enjoyed being outdoors, he especially loved fishing and hunting.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Renee Dicks of Williston; sons, Freddie Lee (Lois) Dicks of White Pond and Marvin Dicks of Williston, S.C.; sisters, Jannie Mae (Herman) White of Williston, S.C., Joyce Walker of Williston, S.C., Janice Hosey of Springfield, S.C., Inez Williams of Williston, S.C., Sherrie Williams of Florence, S.C., Blanchie Williams of Columbia, S.C.; brothers, George Edward (Brenda) Dicks of Williston, S.C., Paul Williams of Williston, S.C., Julius Williams of Greenwood, S.C. and Larry Dicks of Williston, S.C.; grandchildren, Fredrick, Antwan, Lakendra, Charnica, Shwanda and Marvin Jr.; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Janie Mae Corbett.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Dicks; a son, Willie Dicks; and a brother-in-law, Author Walker.
