Dear Blackville Residents,
As mentioned in the monthly town council meetings since the beginning of the year, the new trash service with S&S does not include the pick-up of yard debris. However, as a one-time courtesy service, they have completed pick-up of yard debris remaining from the previous contractor.
This is a reminder that citizens are required to dispose of their own yard debris and are prohibited from leaving it near the road. If trash is found near the road, the homeowner will be reminded to dispose of it or possibly pay a penalty if action is not taken in a timely manner.
