The Town of Snelling held its 38th annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 30.
Community members came together for an evening of Christmas carols, scripture readings, food, a visit with Santa, and many more fun activities like balloon animals and face painting.
“Jesus is the true light,” said Mayor Paul Moore, referring to the birth of Jesus and the reason for the season.
After the town’s Christmas tree was lit, fireworks were set off as an extra celebration of the season.
