She also acknowledged the partnership with Heavener & Associates, referring to them as a "partner in crime" in bringing the project to life.
The land for the new branch was generously donated by the Town of Allendale, a gesture facilitated by a special committee that included Chuck G. Councilman.
City Councilwoman Lee E. Harley-Fitts, conveyed the town's excitement and anticipation, stating, "We're excited, we're enthused. We expect you to help this grow into the branch it needs to be."
SRP Federal Credit Union has a longstanding tradition of giving back to the communities it serves. The re-establishment of the Allendale branch is a testament to this commitment, aiming to provide accessible financial services and foster economic growth in the region.
The Allendale branch will feature four teller stations and four offices. Once completed, the Allendale branch will become SRPFCU’s southernmost location and become the 21st branch across South Carolina and Georgia.
As construction progresses, the Allendale community eagerly awaits the opening of the new SRP Federal Credit Union branch, anticipating the positive impact it will have on local residents and businesses alike.
