WEHS junior Madison Wright is a winner in writing contest.
Madison Wright, a junior at Williston-Elko High School, is one of the winners of the 2024 S.C. Department of Education and Dominion Energy Strong Men and Women in S.C. History Student Writing Contest.
This particular writing contest caught her attention because it would give her the opportunity to write about someone who had great influence on her life from childhood. She wrote about how Williston native Steven Brown’s program, Dreams, Imaginations & Gifts (DIG) Development Program, influenced her decision to become a nuclear engineer.
