The Williston-Elko High Blue Devils baseball team finished their playoff run on Saturday, May 4 after traveling to Greenville to play Brashier Middle College.
“Tough close to the season. The Blue Devils fought back down 6-1 in the 5th and came up a bit short in the bottom of the 9th, 7-6,” said head coach Dalton Mundy. “I am beyond proud of all the players for their fight! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this season and we will be back and ready next year!”
Prior to the playoffs, the Blue Devils baseball team finished the 2024 regular baseball season with a perfect 8-0 region record and the title of Region 4-A Champions.
