BARNWELL - Family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Mr. Randall Cunningham, 31, on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11 a.m., at the Blackville-Hilda High School auditorium in Blackville, with Elder Bobby Dukes, Reverend Bennie Wiggins Jr., Reverend Dr. Floyd Hughes Sr., and Reverend Eddie Williams Jr. officiating.

There are only a few people who distinguish themselves and impact our lives in a very special way. Randall Cunningham uniquely displayed his lively, humorous, outgoing, yet loving disposition very well. He took purpose everywhere he went and made himself known to all who came to know and love him.

To this end, we celebrate the life of our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and cherished friend who was born April 25, 1991, at the Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina to Travain D. Cunningham and Epson Mitchell Salley Jr.

Seeking God’s direction and guidance, at an early age, Randall joined and became a baptized member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Blackville, South Carolina. Randall’s family has been a part of Macedonia Baptist Church for many years.

Randall received his primary education in the Blackville-Hilda Public School System, Blackville, South Carolina and received his GED in Columbia, South Carolina.

Randall was employed at Autoneum Automotive in Aiken, South Carolina where he remained until his passing. He was also formerly employed at Masonite Doors in Denmark, South Carolina.

Randall was family oriented, and full of joy. He enjoyed traveling, cooking on the grill, playing cards and working. Many hearts were saddened when his life was marked “Well Done”.

On Monday, June 27, 2022, while in Barnwell, South Carolina, God whispered Randall’s name, beckoned for him to come and he answered God’s call. Randall left this world we know as home and went from labor to reward. What a time he must have had when he reunited with his loved ones in Heaven. He lived his life to the fullest and now he rests from his labors.

He is preceded in death and now resting with his maternal grandfather: Mr. Charlie Joe Chatter; paternal grandfather: Mr. Epson Mitchell Salley Sr.; maternal great-grandparents: Mrs. Willie Lou Swint-McCreary & Mr. Leonard McCreary and Mrs. Modester Battle-Chatter & Mr. John Chatter; paternal great-grandparents: Mrs. Lillie Mae Hightower and Mr. Sam Hightower & Mr. Hezekiah Salley and Mrs. Cellie Sanders-Salley. Imagine them waiting on him at Heaven’s gate with open arms!

Those remaining to celebrate his life, mourn his departure, continue his legacy and cherish fond memories are: his devoted mother: Travain D. Cunningham of Blackville, South Carolina; his loving father: Epson M. Salley Jr. of Denmark, South Carolina; two sisters: Jasmine Smalls of Barnwell, South Carolina and Felicia Salley of Denmark, South Carolina; one brother: Desmond Salley Sr. of Aiken, South Carolina; maternal grandmother: Lena Mae Hutto of Blackville, South Carolina; paternal grandmother: Dorothy Hightower Salley of Denmark, South Carolina; four nephews: Noah Garvin, Desmond Salley Jr., Major Joyner and Maze Joyner; two nieces: Keylon Furtick and Kiren Salley; his God-father: Bryant Holland of Denmark, South Carolina; two special cousins: David Mcfalling of Denmark, South Carolina and Andre Hightower of Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and sorrowing friends that will miss him dearly.
